Job Summary:

Seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses to provide specialized critical care for cardiac and thoracic patients. This role involves working within a fast-paced ICU environment to deliver advanced cardiovascular nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiac patients using telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Administer titrated medications including pressors, sedatives, and paralytics to stabilize patient conditions.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line insertions, chest tube maintenance, and cardioversion.
• Interpret complex data from telemetry, PA catheters, and other diagnostic tools to inform patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately within the Cerner system and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with 2+ years of ICU or CVICU experience.
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, Vents, Trachs, and telemetry interpretation.
• Knowledge of hemodynamics, PA catheter setup, and cardiovascular procedures.
• Experience with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and critical care protocols.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• CCRN certification preferred but not mandatory.
