Job Summary:
Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical unit patients during night shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient calls, alarms, and emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current valid RN license in good standing.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
