Job Summary:
Provides high-quality, coordinated emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Oversees nursing staff activities, ensuring efficient care delivery while adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing interventions and monitor patient responses to treatment plans.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff and support personnel in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health condition, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care to ensure seamless patient transition.

Qualifications:

• Current valid RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to perform under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
