Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes through comprehensive assessment, planning, and intervention. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions, collecting relevant health data to inform care planning.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve targeted health outcomes.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff activities, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, health management, and recovery processes.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate care effectiveness, adjusting interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the state of practice.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent ICU experience, including specific expertise with Impella and Balloon Pump devices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Maintain current ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
