Job Summary:
Assist in sterilizing and processing medical instruments to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Provide support to surgical teams by maintaining sterile procedures and tracking instrument inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all processes meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of processed instruments and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and ordering replacements as needed.
• Adhere strictly to infection control standards and hospital policies to prevent contamination.

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CBSPD).
• Possess 3-5 years of experience working in large healthcare institutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with sterilization equipment and instrumentation handling.
• Understand infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Capable of working in fast-paced environments with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
