Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with hospital standards. This role supports various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neuro/spine, and ENT, by maintaining sterile processing workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sterilization machinery and processes to thoroughly clean and sterilize instruments.
• Inspect and assemble surgical instruments, ensuring quality and functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization procedures and instrument tracking.
• Follow infection control protocols, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure availability of sterile instruments for procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification as a CRCST or CBSPD Sterile Processing Technician.
• Possess 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume hospital or large healthcare institution.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization methods, surgical instruments, and infection control practices.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
