Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech and language therapy services to patients, assessing their communication and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, and swallowing functions through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs and diagnosis.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols, including patient identification and safety badges.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess current knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques.
• Have prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Maintain CPR and BLS certification as required by regulatory standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
