Job Summary: The OR Staff Nurse provides expert nursing care to surgical patients across all age groups within the Surgical Services Department. This role involves supervising care coordination and ensuring adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment, strictly following safety and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all vaccination requirements, safety standards, and confidentiality regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and certification recertification processes.

Qualifications:

• Current California RN license with minimum two years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with recertification every two years.
• Preferred credentials include CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU.
• Proven ability to operate technical equipment such as IV/PCA/epidural pumps and monitors.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills to effectively work in high-pressure environments.
