Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support inpatient main OR operations. The role involves ensuring the sterility and proper handling of surgical instruments to facilitate safe patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization procedures and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist in inventory management and supply replenishment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a hospital setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certification with the California Board of Sterile Processing (CBSPD), Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow strict sterilization procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Successful completion of prior traveler assignments is a plus.
