Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to facility protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to determine immediate care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Have at least 12 months of permanent ER experience within the past 12 months.
• Possess active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and pass the safeMedicate assessment.
• Complete BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing the contract.
