Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring timely and efficient treatment according to established standards. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patients based on severity of condition upon arrival.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for emergency patients.
• Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and oversee their execution.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
