Job Summary:
Looking for a skilled registered nurse to provide care on a 27-bed General Medicine Unit specializing in complex disease management. The role involves caring for patients with respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious, and renal issues during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' condition and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including float and mileage restrictions.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain professional certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Virginia nursing license or pending license in hand by the start date.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
• Possess Epic EMR system experience.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends on a 13-week contractual basis.
• Comply with all travel and background verification requirements.
