Job Summary:
Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care to postoperative patients in a fast-paced medical environment. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through expert nursing skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient recovery.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC documentation system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about post-surgical care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing, with OK or Compact licensing required at submission.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent orthopedic or surgical nursing experience.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Must meet facility's travel compliance requirements, including local radius rules.
