Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room setting. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff with sterilization, equipment setup, and surgical draping.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond swiftly to emergent situations, providing necessary interventions.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and sterile techniques.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license and active BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Proficient in orthopedic, spine, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries (e.g., Da Vinci, Mako, Globus).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational and patient care skills.
