Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions following physician orders and protocols.
• Implement bedside procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Educate and support patients and their families during the childbirth process.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN license.
• Possess a minimum of two years of Maternal and Child health experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Certified in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NRP.
• Maintain primary source verification of licensure and registration from NYS Department of Education.
