Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate, high-quality care to obstetric patients throughout all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. The role involves working in a dynamic unit that handles a variety of obstetric and gynecological cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor obstetric and gynecological patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures related to labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EMR systems such as EPIC/Stork to document patient information accurately.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during labor and postpartum periods.
• Float between day and night shifts as needed, maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Possess 4–5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current NY RN license with verification.
• Active certifications including AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Documented recent travel and clinical experience in L&D.
• Proficient in using EMR systems such as EPIC or Stork.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts with flexible availability.
