Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Trauma RN with ED/Trauma background to lead emergency care, particularly during primary and secondary survey phases. This role involves managing high-acuity trauma patients and performing critical emergency procedures in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess trauma patients upon arrival, prioritizing care during initial surveys.
• Administer advanced trauma interventions including mass transfusions and emergency bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient stabilization and treatment.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records.
• Maintain proficiency in procedures such as IV placement, chest tube insertion, and central line placement.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current TNCC certification; ENPC preferred.
• Possess valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong IV insertion skills and ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
• Have at least 2 years of emergency or trauma nursing experience.
• Experience running complex transfusions and managing trauma emergencies required.
