Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide specialized surgical nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in neuro and orthopedic surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate neuro and orthopedic procedures.
• Operate and monitor advanced surgical technology, including robotics.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Document patient care and surgical activities accurately using CERNER systems.
• Provide post-operative patient monitoring and support recovery processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in neuro and ortho surgeries.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CERNER electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying schedules.
• Strong intraoperative skills and ability to handle complex cases, including robotics when required.
• Reliable team player capable of working during major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
