Job Summary:

This position requires a skilled ICU/PCU/Stepdown registered nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing complex cardiac and respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced cardiac and respiratory therapies for critically ill patients.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Perform and interpret EKGs, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Float to various campus units as needed, maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records using EPIC.
• Ensure adherence to travel compliance, license, and background check requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license recognized in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in cardiac, ICU, or stepdown units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR systems and EKG exams.
• Have ACLS and BLS certifications current and verifiable.
• Experience with cardiac diagnoses such as CHF, NSTEMI, and ACS required.
• Willing to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed.
