Job Details

Job Summary:
Performs reprocessing and sterilization of surgical instruments to ensure safety and compliance with hospital standards. Collaborates with surgical teams to prepare instruments for procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Reprocess surgical instruments following sterilization protocols.
• Maintain and organize sterile equipment to ensure readiness.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards during instrument handling.
• Document sterilization activities and report any equipment issues.
• Support surgical teams during procedures by providing sterile instruments.
• Follow facility dress code, including wearing dark blue scrub color.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of experience in surgical instrument reprocessing.
• Hold HSPA certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA standards.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work 7a-3:30p, Monday through Friday.
