Job Summary:
Assist in the sterilization, preparation, and processing of medical instruments to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards. Provide support in maintaining sterile processing procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments according to protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment following manufacturer and facility guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processing activities and equipment logs.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing or instrument tech roles.
• Hold relevant certifications such as CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible to work scheduled shifts and holidays.
