Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a critical access hospital setting. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in Vermont's scenic Northeast Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and clinical best practices.
• Coordinate care activities and serve as Charge RN when needed, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.
• Act as a Preceptor to support onboarding and mentoring of new or less experienced staff.
• Manage a broad scope of practice including medical-surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care.
• Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, meeting physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate effectively with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Charge RN experience is a plus.
