Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Travel RN in Med/Surg at a critical access hospital in Vermont. This role offers diverse patient care opportunities, collaborative team environment, and the chance to experience Vermont’s scenic outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a Med/Surg setting.
• Assess patients’ physiological, psychosocial, and developmental needs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
• Serve as Charge RN as needed, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech or related systems.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years recent acute care RN experience in Med/Surg.
• Current Vermont RN license or valid Multi-State Compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage adult patients with occasional pediatric care.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Meditech experience is a plus.
