Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for new mothers and their infants. This role involves supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery in a busy acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, assess progress, and respond to any complications.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech charting system.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, infant care, and recovery processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse license for the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, nursery, or women’s health.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWOHN is required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
• First-time travelers accepted.
