Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, supporting women through childbirth and postpartum recovery. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and progress to ensure safe labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, including IV therapies and pain management.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the appropriate state.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery, nursery, or women's health.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWOHNN certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting.
• Be able to work night shifts (3x12 Hours) from 19:00 to 07:00.
• First-time travelers accepted with all required certifications.
