Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced obstetric environment. The role involves managing low and high-risk deliveries, neonatal care, and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using external fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal patterns requiring intervention.
• Circulate for cesarean sections and assist during surgical procedures in the OR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
• Fulfill on-call duties as scheduled, supporting the unit during high patient volume or emergencies.
• Float to Perinatal units if needed, providing consistent, skilled care across departments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid active California RN license required at submission.
• Certification in AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN, with advanced certifications preferred.
• Proficient in external fetal monitoring, recognizing, and treating abnormal fetal heart patterns.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of OB unit systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and Allscripts.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and most holidays; unwillingness for early RTO during first two weeks.
