Job Summary:

Provides professional occupational therapy services to evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans aimed at restoring or maintaining patients' functional abilities. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ functional status, ROM, strength, and ADL capabilities through diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and execute individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on ADL, sensory integration, orthotics fitting, psychosocial functioning, and upper extremity motor skills.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatment progress, and discharge plans accurately.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and community agencies for seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and staff on occupational therapy recommendations and supportive strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Hawaii Occupational Therapy license.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Proven experience providing OT services in acute and outpatient settings.
• Ability to evaluate patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of current rehabilitation standards and modalities.
