Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, focusing on improving functional independence and quality of life. Evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions in accordance with physician prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and modify individualized therapy programs to meet patient needs.
• Independently manage a full caseload, ensuring timely re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans regularly within the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Comply with all facility policies and state and federal regulations, including working on designated holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Hawaii Occupational Therapist license and be in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adult patients in outpatient and acute care settings.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, including Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
