Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to facilitate patient recovery, restore function, and reduce pain following injury, illness, or surgery. The therapist will assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with physician prescriptions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and therapies to promote recovery.
• Ensure all treatments comply with safety standards and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Michigan Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent physical therapy experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency in physical therapy techniques and assessments.
• Provide at least one supervision-signed reference from within the past two years.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
