Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Oncology to provide advanced patient care within a medical/surgical oncology unit. This role involves working with diverse cancer diagnoses and supporting clinical trials, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes, utilizing telemetry skills as required.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in EPIC electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float between units including Oncology, MS/Tele, Stepdown, and IMC floors, as needed.
• Maintain certification compliance, including ACLS, BLS, CHEMO, and NIH, and ensure adherence to patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact nursing license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and complex patient assessments.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, CHEMO, and NIH.
• Capable of managing general Med/Surg, BMT, surgical oncology, and clinical trial patients.
• Willing to float across various hospital units within scope of practice.
