Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing in a Medical ICU (IMC) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU), delivering high-quality patient care for diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously to identify urgent needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ventilator settings, and other critical parameters.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses using Cerner system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license registered in the state.
• Possess 2+ years of recent experience in ICU or PCU environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and critical care pharmacology.
• Be skilled in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and central line management.
• Must be certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Be adaptable, critical thinker, and works effectively within a team.
