Job Summary:
Provide high-quality acute care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient flow of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and continuously monitor status throughout their stay.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using the Cerner system.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and other critical skills.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid nursing license (RN) with current licensure.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level 2 trauma, comprehensive stroke, or high-volume ED.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced emergency procedures and certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC.
• Have previous experience working with trauma and stroke patients.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including every other weekend, with the ability to float within ED sections.
