Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring adherence to standards of practice and protocols. Assesses patient needs, implements care plans, and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and reassess patients’ conditions, developing and updating individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret data, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, care plans, and discharge processes.
• Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to team members, ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications:

• Current licensed RN in the state with a valid MA RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in telemetry and pediatrics desirable.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and effective communication skills.
