Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care on a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse patient conditions within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and safely.
• Monitor vital signs, observe patient responses, and document clinical findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions to promote recovery and safety.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Massachusetts RN license with valid certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS).
• Must have 4+ years of recent experience in Medical Surgical, Cardiac, or Neuro patient care.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in managing cardiac and neuro patients, including telemetry.
• Complete basic dysrhythmia course and possess Telemetry experience.
• Strongly prefer Meditech Expanse EHR experience.
• Willingness to float as required and work holiday shifts for coverage.
