Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to cardiac patients in a high-acuity telemetry unit. Ensures patient safety and quality outcomes through critical assessment, documentation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and perform advanced cardiac monitoring, including management of vasoactive drips.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following hospital protocols and patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and leadership rounds.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and provide acute care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate advanced assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Have at least 1 year of clinical RN experience, preferably in tele or cardiac units.
• Possess management skills for vasoactive infusions and related procedures.
• Display a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
