Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week seasonal contract. The role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care during night shifts, supporting high-volume maternity units with a focus on patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients, ensuring ongoing fetal and maternal well-being.
• Perform labor assistance procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.
• Administer medications, including the use of fetal monitoring equipment and IV therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols consistently.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and SVE competency required.
• Proven experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Ability to work rotating nights with alternating weekends.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume, Level IV units preferred.
