Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab/EP RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. They assist with recovery, monitor patient status, and ensure protocol adherence during cath lab and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Assist cardiologists with recovery of cardiac caths, PCIs, PFO, CTOs, and EP interventions such as pacemakers, BiV, AICD, and Cryo procedures.
• Administer medications, including flu vaccinations during flu season.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide patient education related to procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with active status at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and 1+ year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS.
• Demonstrate experience with cardiac recovery procedures and implantable devices.
• Be flexible with shift schedules, including on-call and weekend requirements.
• Successful candidates are first-time travelers accepted.
