Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver critical respiratory care for high-risk newborns and support ventilator management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced ventilation techniques, including jet/oscillator ventilation and Nitric Oxide (iNO) therapy.
• Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases, capillary, and umbilical blood samples.
• Manage high-risk deliveries, neonatal transport, and critical respiratory procedures.
• Conduct aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, and suctioning to maintain optimal pulmonary hygiene.
• Troubleshoot and manage mechanical ventilation systems, alarms, and patient equipment.
• Document patient care accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New Jersey Respiratory Care License at the time of submission.
• Possess current BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of recent, proficient acute care experience, including neonatal care.
• Experience with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and neonatal transport required.
• Proficiency in managing neonatal airway equipment, including ET tubes, HFNC, and trach management.
