Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring optimal respiratory care and patient safety. Works collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver efficient treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy to patients according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory care procedures and device usage.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
