Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume trauma and stroke center. Deliver compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care in a dynamic emergency department setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, utilizing triage protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain clinical competencies and certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in trauma, stroke care, and high-volume ED environments.
• Showcase strong teamwork, communication, and coaching skills.
• Be flexible to work in all areas of the emergency department, including behavioral holds.
• Commit to maintaining certifications prior to start date.
