Job Summary:
Performs laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality in reporting results. Supports laboratory operations by reviewing controls, specimen integrity, and instrumentation functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on a variety of clinical specimens.
• Review and evaluate quality control data, specimen validity, and instrument performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory findings and procedures.
• Assist coworkers and support team efforts in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA.
• Manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Possess a BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• Have at least two years of recent experience in clinical laboratory settings.
• Hold current licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in California.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
• Show proficiency in electronic health record systems such as EPIC; Wellsky experience highly preferred.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
