Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting, focusing on restoring and enhancing physical, social, and mental functions. Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and establish appropriate treatment objectives.
• Develop and execute personalized therapy plans utilizing established clinical techniques and tools.
• Deliver therapy interventions aligned with treatment protocols to support patient recovery.
• Coordinate discharge planning and communicate care plans effectively to relevant healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program.
• Possess occupational therapy licensure in the state of practice.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of occupational therapy experience, preferably in acute care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Show ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, inpatient environment with weekend rotation.
