Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting within a Level I Trauma Center. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions thoroughly and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes, and escalate issues promptly.
• Document clinical care accurately in compliance with hospital policies and electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards, including trauma experience and travel guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license in accordance with NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Demonstrate experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital.
• Be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system (preferred).
• Complete at least one prior travel assignment and have traveled within the last 3 years.
• Be willing to work 12-hour day shifts, including flexibility for weekend and holiday requirements.
