Job Summary:
This Contract Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Cath Lab involves providing specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role offers a dynamic environment with a focus on high-volume cases, requiring urgent and efficient response.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and document clinical data accurately.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and dress code requirements, including scrubs.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to maintain efficient workflow and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional or cardiac cath lab setting.
• Possess certification in ARRT or RCIS; candidates with these preferred skills will be prioritized.
• Be able to handle high-volume, fast-paced procedures with a strong sense of urgency.
• Maintain proficiency in Meditech electronic medical records and Philips imaging equipment.
