Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and administer treatments in accordance with hospital policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the PCU, managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation, medication administration, and patient management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment such as IV pumps, chest tubes, and drains, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of medication drips and central lines.
• Float to other units as needed and uphold unit policies, including weekend shifts and patient-centric care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and possess a minimum of 1 year of current hospital PCU experience.
• Demonstrate current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Display knowledge of medication drips, central line management, and recovery procedures.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, positive attitude, and patient-centered approach.
• Show ability to collaborate as a team player and adapt to unit policies.
