Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a Telemetry/Progressive Care setting, focusing on patients with moderate physiologic instability. Ensure quality patient management while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, performing frequent assessments and documentation.
• Administer oxygen therapy, including nasal cannula, BIPAP, and CPAP, ensuring optimal patient response.
• Conduct nursing interventions such as vital sign checks every 4 hours and continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records in the Meditech system and ensure compliance with all safety and documentation standards.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, providing courteous and respectful care to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing with at least 1 year of recent ICU/Tele/Pulm experience.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac and pulmonary patient management.
• Ability to work self-scheduled shifts, including weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
