Job Summary:
Provide specialized circulator support in a Cardiac Valve Operating Room, ensuring optimal surgical procedures and patient safety. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the OR by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for procedures.
• Act as a circulator to coordinate surgical activities, monitor patient status, and maintain sterile techniques throughout surgeries.
• Assist in managing and documenting procedural details within the EMR system.
• Support surgical staff by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and assisting with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations during complex cardiac surgeries, including CABG, Thoracotomy, and Valve Replacement.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required to ensure continuous patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of CVOR or cardiac surgery experience.
• Demonstrate scrubbing and circulating skills in cardiac OR environments.
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressure setting with a self-starter attitude.
• Possess experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems.
• Ability to adapt to floating areas and flexible scheduling.
