Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. They develop individualized treatment plans, supervise support staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop tailored physical therapy programs.
• Implement and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and response.
• Supervise and mentor PT Assistants and Aides in delivering patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding treatment goals and patient progress.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries accurately in the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and billing protocols, including ICD-10 coding and insurance authorizations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or be pending licensure.
• Possess a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems, billing procedures, and ICD-10 coding.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a team.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with mobility, and stand for extended periods.
