Job Summary:
A Medical Assistant position focused on supporting clinical operations within a healthcare setting. The role involves preparing patients, managing clinical documentation, and assisting healthcare professionals during exams and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect specimens according to established protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate charting and documentation.
• Assist clinicians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Verify patient identity, review medical histories, and ensure proper documentation is completed prior to procedures.
• Maintain clinical areas and equipment to ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized environment.
• Complete required educational modules and certifications prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold a High School diploma or GED credential.
• Possess required BLS certification through AHA.
• Demonstrate at least one year of recent Medical Assistant experience or relevant clinical support roles.
• Previous EPIC and phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Valid NY license and travel compliance regulations must be met.
