Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a high-volume setting. This role involves clinical review, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions to ensure safe labor and delivery.
• Administer treatments and medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Document patient data accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including certified nurse midwives and physicians, to optimize outcomes.
• Cross-train to Mother/Baby and potentially support NICU (feeders/grower) units as needed.
• Adhere to safety, clinical, and facility policies, including fetal monitoring and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with pending licenses accepted (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date).
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of low and high-risk obstetric care, including maternal-fetal medicine.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour nights) with flexibility for floating within scope of practice.
• Nursys verification required with submission; references must be provided.
